[Identification] Looking for a scary story that features a girl named Eriko-chan

*This is a thread trying to identify a scary story someone is looking for.*

I feel like I read this about 3 years ago. It felt like it belonged in the "ShareKowa" (scary stories that give you chills) category. The plot was something like: a girl who should have been in the graduation album wasn't in it, so the protagonist decides to look into it. What was the title of that story again? Even when I try to search for it, all that comes up are stories where a stranger's kid is accidentally in the graduation album, so I can't find it.

I've seen that in a horror relay project before.

Isn't this it? There should be an original version too, but I'm not sure. "Summer Horror [Redacted] Relay Project '23, Day 1 A: 'Magic'"

Thanks, but I don't have a NicoNico account so I can't check, though "Eriko-chan" sounds familiar, so that might be it. About four classmates get together and talk about what she was like, and since their memories matched up, they knew she definitely existed. I think the plot was that they all tried to draw her face from memory without showing anyone else, and when they finished and showed each other, something messed up happened.

I don't think it was ShareKowa, but if it was on a novel site like Kakuyomu or somewhere around there, I feel like I've seen something similar. I vaguely remember it having a sort of "she was being bullied and now she's taking revenge" kind of twist.

What I read wasn't a human-horror story, it was definitely occult. It starts when the protagonist contacts a local friend and former classmate who shares the same doubt, and that friend says there are still other classmates who feel the same way, let's get together and talk.

Ah, must be different then.

Ah yeah, the horror relay thing had something like that.

Found the original source. Kikikaikai Scary Story Submissions: Memories of Eriko-chan

This is awesome.

Thanks a lot! This is it! It felt exciting like a mystery solving story up to a certain point, but then suddenly turned occult, which left a huge impression on me.

It reminds me of "Yu-chan," the legendarily scary episode talked about on Unbelievable. [Everyone's Traumatic Episode] Unbelievable: "My Only Friend Yu-chan" Summary

While reading it, I thought it was similar to a novel by Yasutaka Kobayashi up to a point, but the ending turns out to be full-on horror.
