[J-Horror] Peering into the first-floor ceiling space during a house water leak inspection <video included>

I was scrolling through Threads and found this. It's scarier to think it was a living human rather than a ghost, especially since it was in the ceiling.

(Post content) kasai0801 06/05/2026 *Ghost photo* *Viewer discretion advised* This is a photo taken when an inspection technician peered into the ceiling space during a water leak investigation in a house. Since it's the ceiling space of the first floor, there's no room for a person to fit, and when we checked afterwards, there was nothing there. Could someone knowledgeable about ghosts please explain this? By the way, this is seriously not AI.

onyourmark202605: There's a light in the eyes. That's a living human 🤣 (Image of what looks like a human face) kumkum0803: Don't upload this lol 193stagram.n: The skin is super clear. bec10448: The direction of the light is reversed, so this is clearly a synthesized video. Unfortunately, since there's a light reflection in the eyes, it's a living human. An actor, maybe? maz_remus: Living humans are scarier. kwai_dhwos: It's the neighbor, peeking down from the ceiling every day. bueda71: Are they wearing makeup? yuuuuko2nd: Exactly, it's scarier because they're alive! kansyou2: There's even a shadow from the hair, so it's a human. hanayu.ri: It's starting to look like someone who's really flexible might have managed to do that.

That is so freakin' scary. Man, that made me jump so hard. Isn't it just a poster or something? Don't you feel like the face is moving a little? Like it's not flat? That scared the shit out of me. Reminds me of those close-up scary women's faces you used to see on old horror websites. Too well-groomed for an illegal attic squatter. I thought it was pareidolia or something, but then I noticed the light in the pupils, lol. No wait, that's not funny at all. If it's not AI, then it has to be a living human. The poster literally said there's no space for a person to fit in the first-floor ceiling. Looking at their other posts, they just seem like a regular repair or construction contractor, though. Still, the texture is that of a living human. It doesn't look like paper. AI is probably the most likely explanation. The problem is that the person posting it doesn't seem like the type to make that kind of stuff with AI. I absolutely cannot watch stuff like this. Seriously, there's a woman staring right at you, so depending on the person, it'll keep you up at night. Thanks. I am definitely not watching that. I wonder what happened after this. Honestly, living humans are way scarier than yokaIs or anything else. I'm about to take a shower, why would you show me something like this 😭😭😭 I'm taking a shower now too. Let's go in together 😘 Really? On the count of three, okay? 🥺 The technician said nobody could even stand in there, so it's not a human. I can't watch the video of the inspection hatch, so could someone take a a scary scene screenshot and post it? (Screenshot image) So creepy. That's a pretty face, though. That is genuinely terrifying. If you turn up the brightness, it looks like the mouth is open and you can see teeth. What kind of situation is this... She's wearing horror-style makeup, so maybe it's just the wife? Thanks, man. It wasn't as bad as I thought. It suddenly pops out though, so the video is scarier. It just looks like a woman with a pretty face staring right at us.
