U: "Yes. So, this is the latest installment in our self-parody series, featuring the joke headline: 'Shisho Series Manga Adaptation Confirmed!'" Shisho: "You finally did it, April Fool's." U: "You've apparently been wanting to do this for a long time. Though you always seem to remember it's April 1st only when the day actually arrives, so you never really had the chance." Shisho: "Looks like you remembered it at noon on the day of this time, too." U: "If I'd properly prepared, I suppose I could have made it a bit more convincing. Oh, and the illustrations used for the character design proposals this time are by someone named Cero-san. I borrowed them from a Shisho Series manga they drew with a friend about four or five years ago. Thank you for being an accomplice in this April Fool's prank." Shisho: "Well, given the nature of the joke, I doubt many people fell for it. It hasn't even been published as a book, so a sudden manga adaptation is pretty impossible, right?" U: "Ah, I forgot to mention, Shisho is going to die this time." Shisho: "Huuuh?! Again! Just because I'm usually the one pranking others, the moment I lower my guard, this happens! What is this crap parody?! Forget it, I'm done with this stuff." U: "Well, I mean, it's in the notes—" Shisho: "And it's got my name on it, too! Aaaaaah, screw it, I'll just die. I'll die for real, just like Nakada-kun from *The Drifting Classroom*!" U: "Don't get so desperate." Shisho: "I'll recite my death poem first! 'I die simply for the crime of having been born. And so, with no lingering grudges or regrets...!!'" U: "Isn't that total plagiarism? A good poem, though. Just calm down. Let's wrap this up." Shisho: "Wrap it up, you say." U: "Um, to those who were surprised, and those who were fooled, I am terribly sorry. To those who scoffed with a 'pfft,' I am sorry as well. To those who thought it was lame—I am truly, truly sorry. It has truly sunk in that I should probably tone down this kind of humor from now on." Shisho: "Come to think of it, the idiot who wrote this did 'Miss Shisho Series,' so he was apparently planning to do 'Mr. Shisho Series' next." U: "Yeah. Looking at the planning notes, I see phrases like, 'All male characters in thong swimsuits,' 'Appear while dancing to the Village People's "In the Navy",'' and 'Refusing to appear will not be accepted.'" Shisho: "Who benefits from that?! Are you an idiot?" U: "He seems to have reined it in, thankfully. Or rather, Mikacchi-san and Kyosuke-san, whom he tried to cast as the MCs, apparently refused to appear." Shisho: "That's irritating in its own right." U: "Anyway, let's wrap this joke up! Now then, thanks for waiting, everyone who isn't a reader. Because right now, standing right in front of us, are all the main characters who gathered here, tricked by the 'Manga Adaptation Confirmed!' news, and they are all staring at us in stunned silence!" Shisho: "Hahahahaha! Serves you right!" U: "I'm so sorry, everyone." Shisho: "Man, the women's makeup is heavier than usual today. Trying way too hard, aren't you? But it's not being filmed! The manga thing was a lie. It's just text! Heh." U: "Yes. You're jinxing yourself again. But really, Mikacchi-san, what is with that outfit? You even changed your hairstyle." Shisho: "Wait, if that's the case, describe the Oku-Otoko instead! What is up with that? Huh, he's even popping his collar. Trying way too hard!" U: "Hey, nobody get angry. We're still on the air." Shisho: "Look at Natsuo, his upper body is bare. What kind of character is that supposed to be? Isn't he the samue-wearing type? You should've just worn the thong swimsuit instead, man." U: "Please don't get angry. Please don't get angry. You can boil me or roast me however you like later." Shisho: "Aya has that 'none of my business' look on her face, but she's already wearing the clothes she spent two hours agonizing over at Vivre the other day. Heh." U: "Oto-kyo and Ruri, the two gothic Lolitas, are dressed the same as always. Well, I suppose there's not much else they could do." Shisho: "The Witch isn't here." U: "Kyoko-san? Indeed she isn't. As expected, she's probably not the type to show up for something like this." Shisho: "Ogawa-san, I thought it was unusual for his tie not to be crooked, but is that a brand new one?" U: "Eh? What is it, Ogawa-san? It's fine to speak up." Ogawa: "I rushed out to buy a new one. I never thought I'd fall for a lie like this. But more importantly, Kana-chan is just too pitiful." U: "What about Kanako-san? Now that you mention it, I don't see her around." Ogawa: "She wanted to liven things up, so she waited the whole time wearing a costume." U: "Eh, don't tell me that stuffed Japanese grasssnake over there... Ah, it moved." Ogawa: "She said it was a surprise, so she's wearing raccoon ears and a raccoon tail inside the costume, too." U: "A coiled Japanese grasssnake—no wait, a snake with legs is coming this way! Ah, it's beckoning us. It's putting in the effort to have its hands come out from different tiers of its coils, but—ah, Shisho, you're being called. ......Um, Shisho went over when called. And now he's being put in a headlock by the grasssnake and dragged away somewhere..." U: "Right, so everyone else can disperse, too. That's all for April Fool's!" U: "..." U: "Huh? It's already over, though." U: "Oh dear. The broadcast isn't cutting off." U: "..." U: "I knew it." U: "Do I have to die, too?" U: "Ah." (End)
