Come to think of it, I have a genuinely creepy story. Yesterday, around this time, I was browsing 2ch on the second floor when I heard someone say "Gomen kudasai" (Excuse me) from the window. I asked my sister on the first floor, but she said she didn't hear anything, so I have no idea what it was. It seriously sounded like I heard it, so I'm disturbed. Just in case, I checked the balcony to smoke a cigarette, but no one was there. Even my cat was staring intently in the direction the voice came from, acting all alert. I guess it must have been a burglar after all. A burglar wouldn't say "Gomen kudasai," would they? Was it a man's voice? It was a man's voice. I figure it was a robber scoping the place out during the Obon holiday. Ah, checking to see if anyone's home, huh? That's scarier than a ghost. Well, my sister was cracking up at her phone in the dark, so I figured they probably backed off because of that. Wait, "Gomen, kudasai" ("Sorry, please"). Lol. Did they just want the cigarettes I left on the balcony? Lol.
