I saw an animated short film on TV the other day. It was about a man who turns invisible, but if he isn't holding something heavy, his body slowly floats up into the air. Desperate because everyone around him treats him as if he doesn't exist, he throws away his weights and is about to commit suicide by jumping up into the sky? Just then, he spots a runaway stroller rolling down a slope, chases after it without regard for his own safety, and saves the baby inside. When he rocks the crying baby to soothe it, the baby smiles at the man, who should be invisible... It's supposed to be a "what a heartwarming story" kind of moment, but none of the man's circumstances changed at all before and after the story, leaving me with a really lingering sense of unease.
