The Bathroom Graffiti

Just before the last train, at a subway station, the protagonist suddenly needed to use the restroom. While washing their hands after finishing, they noticed some graffiti on the wall: "Anyone who uses this bathroom at night will never be able to leave." Scoffing at the message, the protagonist tried to head out. However, the entrance door was shut tight, refusing to budge whether pushed or pulled. Trapped in the station restroom long after the last train had departed and the station staff had gone home, they were forced to spend the night there. The walls were covered in various pieces of graffiti. To pass the time, the protagonist started reading them, only to find that every single one was menacing in nature. One of them, written on the stall wall, read: "At 12 o'clock, Jack comes." Further details were written below it. Checking the watch, the protagonist realized that time was fast approaching. Putting on a brave face, they suddenly panicked when footsteps approached the restroom, even though no one should have been there. Impulsively, they wiped away the graffiti, and the footsteps stopped. Driven by momentum, the protagonist spent the entire night cleaning the restroom to erase every last piece of graffiti. Dawn broke, and the protagonist stood exhausted in a completely spotless restroom. Then, the entrance door swung open. The door that hadn't budged no matter how hard they pushed or pulled, and which they had desperately tried to open, was actually a sliding door. Realizing this in the morning, the protagonist was easily able to walk outside. Before leaving, as they turned the faucet and washed their hands while looking in the mirror, they noticed that a large piece of graffiti on the wall they hadn't paid much attention to was actually the number "259" reflected backwards in the mirror. "...Hell?" Realizing they wouldn't make it to work by subway, the protagonist caught a taxi and breathed a sigh of relief. However, the number of the approaching taxi was "259." Overcome with a bad premonition, the protagonist let that car pass and got into the next one. The previous "259" taxi was driving just ahead of them when suddenly, a deafening crash echoed! The "259" car was involved in a collision at an intersection and completely wrecked. Standing there with a look of utter disbelief, the protagonist was left in shock.
