Inspired by "Tales of the Unusual." Hearing about a high-paying part-time job, a broke college student immediately applies. After his physical build is thoroughly checked, he has to mimic a monkey in an audition, passes, and successfully lands the job. It was a very rare job working at a zoo wearing a white gorilla suit and pretending to be a gorilla. In fact, a "phantom rare white gorilla" had been on a one-month loan from China to Japan, but because the male gorilla fell ill and collapsed, a replacement was needed. Because they are smart and docile animals, there is no danger even when staying with the female gorilla, and he wouldn't have to move around much. It was a lucrative gig since it paid an extraordinary amount. Just as he was thinking he could buy a present for his girlfriend with this... the situation suddenly takes a drastic turn. The condition of the male gorilla that had fallen ill worsens, and it finally dies. Fearing a scandal, the people in charge confine the protagonist and use a special solvent to glue the gorilla suit on so he can never take it off. Furthermore, they crush his vocal cords so he can't make a sound. Just as he is about to be shipped back to China as he is, the female gorilla protects him, and he succeeds in escaping, causing a massive uproar in society. However, he cannot return home, and even if he sees his girlfriend, she doesn't recognize that it's him. While he is drowning in despair, the female gorilla comes to persuade (?) him, and the two happily get into a truck cage. Then, watched over by the moving applause of the people, they head back to China. Afterward, news broke that a baby gorilla was born between the two of them...
