This is a very short story from an episode of the overseas animated series "Rick and Morty."
Morty, a boy who was observing the celestial bodies with a telescope, catches sight of a human figure on the surface of the moon. The mysterious man standing on the moon turns toward Morty back on Earth and flashes an eerie smile. "Is that a demon!?" Morty shivers in terror.
The next day, a new teacher arrives at Morty's school who looks exactly like the "man standing on the moon" he saw last night, and flashes the exact same sinister smile. Frightened by this, Morty clings to the school principal. "That new teacher is a 'demon'! I saw it! He's the 'man standing on the moon'!"
Hearing this, the principal says, "Got it. I'll do something about it!" and immediately goes to meet the new teacher. Morty watches them from a distance. After talking with the new teacher for a bit, the principal suddenly punches him to the ground. Returning to Morty, the principal declares, "I fired him. Just like you said, he was a 'lolicon.' I can tell."
Morty is confused, asking, "Huh? What do you mean 'lolicon'? Wasn't that teacher a demon?" This confuses the principal as well, who replies, "I'd never heard the phrase 'man standing on the moon' before, so I figured it was just slang for 'lolicon,' but was I wrong?"
A few days later, Morty visits the teacher's house, only to find a funeral being held there. Distressed at being branded a lolicon and fired from his teaching job, the teacher had committed suicide. He apparently used to be a Marines veteran, and his former Marine comrades were tearfully offering their condolences one after another, showing what a good and decent man he had been. And finally, the Marines said this: "He was a man who looked just like the pattern on the moon."
