The mysterious sound occurred just after 9:00 a.m. on the 3rd. It happened just as a man was about to feed his cat. The impact sound could be heard for about 7 seconds. As the sound starts, the cat also looks around anxiously.
This footage was filmed at an accommodation in Hirakawa City, Aomori. Even people located about 4 kilometers away from this spot heard the mysterious sound.
Satoshi Yamaya, Priest at Sarga Shrine: "There was a 'Boom!' sound. However, unlike an earthquake, there was no shaking afterward, and it just felt like it faded away smoothly."

Sounds like gunfire to me. That's even scarier. Right now, there's a meteorite theory going around. A mid-air explosion pattern. If the U.S. military in Misawa is covering up some kind of accident, that's interesting in its own way. It feels like *SIREN*, I like it. It's this thing, right? Weren't apocalyptic sounds mostly proven to be hoaxes? Must be a fireball. Why is it that despite such a wide area, nobody is uploading the audio? It's strange how the news isn't covering it much either, typical old media behavior. I actually found out about this on TV. They even touched upon the U.S. military base.
