The Plastic Surgery Beauty

I'll write this down because I just remembered it—a TV drama I saw a long time ago.

The main character was a woman so unattractive that men hitting on her would be completely repulsed. Sick of her own face, she undergoes plastic surgery and transforms into an absolute beauty. Convinced she has been reborn, she burns all of her old photographs.

She quickly starts dating a man, but for some reason, he suddenly attacks her, trying to kill her. Even pedestrians on the street turn their murderous intent toward her and chase her down.

Not understanding what is happening, she bursts into a police box to ask for help, but hanging on the wall is a wanted poster for a woman with the exact same face as hers. She has ended up with the identical face of a female serial killer.

She wishes she could go back to her original face, but it is already too late. The protagonist is shown on television, fleeing from the bereaved families and the police.

Chased and cornered by various people, she dies during her escape, perhaps in an accident. Watching this on TV, the female serial killer—who was actually the plastic surgeon who performed the protagonist's surgery—smiles quietly.
