When it comes to songs with an unsettling aftermath, I'd say it's "Higurashiyama" by Junichi Inagaki. I saw someone asking on Yahoo! Chiebukuro about how the lyrics made no sense, so I'll summarize them briefly. A boyfriend and girlfriend are on a date at a mountain called Higurashiyama, but people around them are opposed to their relationship. Looking down at the grieving couple, a Yezo spruce—personified in the lyrics—believes that if they have strong hearts, they can overcome any obstacles, and watches over them with that hope. However, after agonizing over their situation, the couple throws themselves into a cold marsh one autumn day and dies together in a double suicide. Time passes, and now, inside the hollow of the decayed Yezo spruce, a pair of reincarnated white snakes live. That's pretty much what the lyrics are about.
Reading on while absentmindedly confusing him with Junji Inagawa, I actually thought, "Huh, so he released a song too," and "I guess those kinds of lyrics are pretty typical for him."
