[Unsettling Story] From the "Yotsuba&!" Episode "Revenge"

From the "Yotsuba&!" episode "Revenge": The protagonist is a young girl picked up in a foreign country (nationality unknown) who affectionately calls the man who took her in "Daddy" and lives a peaceful life with him in Japan. One day at their home, the father, his friend, and the protagonist are watching a revenge-themed movie. Suddenly, the protagonist stands up as if a different person, brings a gun from the next room, repeats the exact line from the movie, and shoots the father right in the head. After firing several shots into the abdomen of the father's friend, who instinctively tries to retaliate, she reverts back to her usual self as if snapping out of it. Clinging to her dying father, she murmurs, "Daddy, who did this to you?! I'll definitely get revenge..." and storms into the house next door. The family living next door (a mother, eldest daughter, second daughter, and youngest daughter) had a close, family-friendly relationship with them, so the mother readily lets the protagonist into the house. The moment she steps into the entryway, the protagonist beats the mother half to death, demands to know where the youngest daughter is, and then shoots the mother in the head multiple times. Unaware of what has just happened, the youngest daughter is shot while completely off guard in her room, and the second daughter is shot in the head while sleeping. With only one left, the protagonist creeps up on the eldest daughter while she is on the phone, but she runs out of bullets. Seizing a split-second opening, the eldest daughter fights back, and the protagonist barely manages to escape and crawl back to her own home. Back home, the father's friend is still alive and asks the protagonist, "How did it go?" With her usual smile, the protagonist simply replies, "They're dead." Right next to the father, who is lying on the floor with his eyes rolled back, the father's friend mutters, "Revenge never brings anything good, does it?" and the story ends. It was so shocking how a manga that had always been wholesome suddenly had the protagonist's personality switch, causing a massive disaster.

*Note: It's actually with water guns.*
