"Your Story" (Tales of the Unusual)

There was a similar story on *Tales of the Unusual* or something like that. One day, a female protagonist finds a series of videos titled "Your Story" at a video rental shop. There's no cover art, just a black case with the title written on it. Thinking it might be some kind of serialized drama, she rents a couple of volumes at once, only to discover that the content is literally her *entire life*, starting from the day she was born. She rents a few volumes at a time, reminiscing about the past or regretting certain moments in her life. The timeline on the videos has already reached the future, and before long, she starts shaping her own actions to match what happens in the videos, becoming increasingly dependent on them. However, Volume 10 (?) is constantly checked out, and she can't watch it. Volumes 11 and onward show her being imprisoned and eventually dying in a cell. Desperate, she rewatches Volumes 1 through 9 over and over again like a madwoman, but no matter how hard she tries, she can't figure out why she would ever end up in prison. Unable to resist finding out what will happen to her, she camps out at the rental shop day after day, waiting endlessly for Volume 10 to be returned—the volume that surely contains the turning point of her fate. Driven mad by anxiety, she slowly loses her sanity. When she looks away for just a moment, another customer ends up renting Volume 10 first. She chases the customer down, and in a struggle to steal the tape, she pushes the person off a pedestrian overpass, killing them. Under police interrogation, she tries to explain about "Your Story," but the video she was trying to steal from the victim was actually just Volume 10 of a trending foreign drama, and no video called "Your Story" ever existed at the rental shop at all... Something like that. Man, Manami Konishi's unhinged acting in it was terrifying.
