There was an incredibly kind guy at my part-time job

I work part-time at a convenience store, and there was this guy, A, who was insanely kind to everyone. A was the same age as me, and we got along pretty well. We hung out together a few times, and he was just so nice to me and everyone around us.

Whenever A came over to my place, he would always bring drinks or snacks as a gift, and he even gave me tickets to see my favorite artist for free. Eventually, it got to the point where I felt guilty taking so much stuff, so I tried to pay him for it, but for some reason, he wouldn't accept the money. This strange dynamic went on for about a year.

One day, a few of us from work, including A, went out for drinks. A got pretty drunk and said, "I feel sick," before heading to the restroom. He had left his waist pouch on his chair. The zipper was open, and a notebook was sticking out of it. I'm usually not the type to snoop through other people's things, but for some reason, I felt a strange urge to take a peek at that notebook.

Inside, written closely page after page, were things like:
"My Name – Care package – 75"
"Artist Name – Concert – 450"

It was a dense list of all the things he had done for me and all the gifts he had given me, with incomprehensible numbers written right next to them.

I was shocked and quickly put the notebook back the way it was. Naturally, I couldn't bring myself to talk to him about it, nor could I tell anyone else. I'm still working there, and A is still there too. I have no idea what I should do from here on out.
