This is about the South Park episode featuring the Chinese restaurant and the sushi bar. A Japanese sushi bar opens right next to a Chinese restaurant in South Park. The Chinese owner of the restaurant gets angry at the appearance of a business rival. The Chinese owner complains, "Americans can't tell the difference between Chinese and Japanese culture! If this keeps up, I'll be out of business!" The Chinese owner starts harassing the Japanese sushi chef in various ways related to their respective countries. The harassment gradually escalates until the Chinese owner finally tries to push the Japanese man from a height to kill him. In the end, due to various circumstances, the Japanese man jumps himself (committing suicide), but as he falls and looks down, he realizes something and screams out, "This is terrible racism!" The Japanese man crashes straight into the Chinese restaurant below and dies (the running gag being that Americans can't tell Japan and China apart). The Chinese owner is arrested by the police. The American police officers find the case troublesome, and also think, "If we arrest this Chinese guy, there won't be any Asian restaurants left in this town" (since Americans can't tell Chinese and Japanese food apart). They decide to brush it off by saying, "Japan has the highest suicide rate in the world, so that Japanese guy must have committed suicide too," and release the Chinese man, ending the episode. In a later, separate episode, this incident is briefly mentioned only as "a Chinese man killed a Mongolian" (because Americans can't tell Japan and Mongolia apart either).
