"The Doll" by Shinichi Hoshi
A young punk was ordered to act as a hitman, but he was trembling with fear that he would fail and be killed.
He met a mysterious fortune teller who gave him a doll.
"This doll is yourself. As long as you protect this doll, you will be safe."
The punk bought a safe, put the doll inside, tore the key to pieces on a bench, and flushed it down the toilet.
Now he was safe… As he tried to leave his apartment, the door wouldn't budge, as if it had been welded shut.
"Aah!"
